An Update to Website Aesthetics (v0.4)
This update log comes a bit late, but as you may have seen, I have changed the layout and the look of the website once again. I have made sure that both Firefox and Chromium users experience my website in the same way. Noteably, the default line-height and the thickness of the horizontal rule have been made the same in both browsers.
In the same vein, I have added color to the navbar and have created a new site header (bonus points to anyone who can recognize who's in the image ).
To wrap up, I changed the format of the RSS feed to be easier to read (mainly getting rid of large bolded text and removing duplicate titles), and I have improved the format of the music section. Concerning the music section, I have made sure to add metadata tags to all of my tracks (important things like BPM and artist name), and by each track I have listed the genre/genres (though defining genre can be somewhat dubious at times).
When it comes to new music releases and RSS, for now I will only provide notifications when I release albums (not every time I release a track).
On the topic of the 'coming soon' 8ball CLI program, it was finished about a month ago and only needs a writeup. As a note, the way I want to approach the projects is to make ever-evolving posts. As I am new to Python, as I improve, I will likely look back on old code and find obvious ways of improvement, and thus a dynamic nature is needed.
I would also like to thank those of you who left kind comments in the guestbook; it's very much appreciated
